what is rem?
a: rem is our tried and true multi-purpose server. The innards are a p3 800, 2 20 gb hard disks, and 512mb of ram. All in a neat little 2u rack case sitting in southfield, mi. respect rem. because rem respects you.
q: what do i get with my free account?
a: You get a *.mg2.org subdomain or a www.mg2.org/* subweb, 20MB of disk space for your web site and home directory, an e-mail account @mg2.org, a position in the mg2.org user hierarchy, access to a web server with support for all popular unix-based web scripting languages (php, cgi, perl), and the assistance of an experienced community of IT professionals. If you bring your own domain, we'll be happy to configure the webserver to use that instead.
