Mg2.org started out with an idea to provide free web hosting services to anyone that wanted it. It existed without censorship and without limitations. We consider ourselves to be a community of artists and artisans, and the sites hosted on the original Mg2.org were world-class expressions of creative thought.

Today, that tradition continues.

The current vision of Mg2.org keeps free web hosting as the primary focus, but has been expanded to include five threads:

software.mg2.org
code.mg2.org
visual.mg2.org
words.mg2.org
tracks.mg2.org

The visual, words, and tracks threads provide artists with a place to display their graphic art, literature, and original music, respectively. Anyone can post original work and anyone can enjoy it without cost. (Enjoying art for free... What a concept!)

The code thread is where hackers can post their latest work, including applications, graphic art, and code samples. We've also enabled people to post links to their graphic art, websites, and media reviews.

Progress on these threads is continuing at breakneck pace and the sites will be launched shortly.

Software is for the commercial projects that Mg2.org provides. We enjoy creating applications that people use and enjoy, and this is where you'll find out about them.
